Norman E. Geiger of Jackson, formerly of Milwaukee, died on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 94 years. He was born on April 16, 1918 in Beaver Dam to the late Albert and Laura (nee Zahn) Geiger.

On July 12, 1947, he was united in marriage to Frances L. Krobert in Beaver Dam.

Norman served with the United State Army during World War II. For 39 years, he was employed at Falk Corporation.

In addition to being a loving husband, father and grandfather, he also was an avid outdoorsman.

Survivors include his wife Frances; 2 son Thomas (Peggy) and Brian (Maggie Sue); 5 grandchildren Mike (Sylvia), Ryan (Rachel), Kevin, Patrick and Katherine (Michael) Kokta; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 sister Audrey (Mike) Yauck; 2 sisters-in-law Evelyn Geiger and Dora Geiger; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers Ralph, Gerald and Kenneth.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 9 at 11 a.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Jackson with Rev. Thomas Eichenberger officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be a the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to the charity of the donor's choice.
